The process of measuring must be done by a professional. This is called Templating. Professional worktop fabricators will call to your home and your bespoke template for your kitchen or island is taken and sent back to the factory to have the worktops fabricated after you choose and buy your worktops. We can take care of any kitchen countertops in any of the materials whether you live in Dublin or anywhere else in Ireland.

You can buy a Milton Mild bleach which is regarded as a good product for cleaning Marble, Granite or Quartz Worktops. The alternative is the water down some bleach to make your own cleaning product.

You can use any type of sink in your worktops whether it be inset, undermount or a Belfast type sink. It is important that when the stone templating specialist calls to your home to template your worktops that you have the sink and hob on site so that he can take measurements. It is also important to know if you are having an inset sink then you do not want Drainer Flutes in your stone, but is you use a Belfast style sink or an undermount sink then you will want them.

This is a question for your fabricator. Generally people go with What is called a pencil edge, whilst others want something more fancy like an Ogee edge which is more expensive. Be sure to discuss with your supplier which type of edge you want for your worktops.
