Formica Prima Range kitchen worktops can be bought in lengths of 3.0m X 600 and 4.1m X 600, 670 and 900.

Solid wood worktops come in 40mm thickness.

It would not be advised to use Post formed worktops for any type of belfast sink or undermounted sink. Only use inset kitchen sinks with post formed worktops.

It is strictly forbidden to place any hot utensils on the worktop surface no matter what type of materials it is, be it post formed laminated worktops, solid wood, or quartz, granite or marble. If you place hot utensils on the surface of the worktops you will damage it as the heat from the utensil will SHOCK the material. PLEASE DO NOT DO IT!

You can purchase sealing oils like Osmo Oil when you place your order for the solid wood worktops. This oil helps to seal the wood and stop any moisture or water from getting into the wood and causing swelling. It is important that you treat all worktops on all sides with at least 3 coats of oil before fitting. You will also need to rub the worktops down with Steel wood and condition it with a damp cloth before rubbing the oil in. Be sure to do this before each coat.
